  • How do I download my dna to export to GEDmatch?

I can't find a link to download the data anywhere, I've even tried google. I know it's there because I uploaded mine to GEDmatch years ago. Now I want to upload my brothers Y test and can't figure out a way to download it so I can do it. Can someone please help me?

    Nevermind

I found it. It doesn't work, but I found it.

Gedmatch does not accept YDNA, only autosomal, like Family Finder or the Ancestry or 23 and Me tests.

Doh! And I knew that (well at one time but it was gone till you reminded me!) Thank you!

Is there any other site that does collect Y tests from anyone and match them? I have a 111 marker test and things are moving slowly for matches here.

You can try ysearch.com, however it is not well maintained and most of the recent participants tested with FTDNA.
