The TiP icon is based on averages using known genealogies and the markers they had. Just like any Bell curve you could be an outlier or a one-off. In order to rule that you could to ask your match to get a 111 marker test and a BigY test and you would need to do the same. If you read the following thread you can see instances where even 67 marker matches don't hold up with a BigY test at http://forums.familytreedna.com/showthread.php?t=37531. There is also an example of 67 marker matches not holding up at 111 markers at https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/.../messages/2435

Please try reading the following two short items from the Family Tree DNA Learning Center

https://www.familytreedna.com/learn/...ionship-match/ Expected Relationships with Y-DNA STR Matches

https://www.familytreedna.com/learn/...-relationship/ How do I tell how closely I am related to a Y-Chromosome DNA (Y-DNA) match? What is FTDNATiP?

And then try to use TiP . Look for the TiP icon https://www.familytreedna.com/img/my/icons/TiP_icon.gif next to your match name and click it.
