It would be very helpful to have a legend for the advanced matching function. It is a little hard to compare the different tests when there is no explanation as to what the x, 0, 1 mean in the columns. The FF is self-explanatory

I asked about the meaning of Advanced Matching results quite some time ago (months). I never did get a definitive answer.
As far as I can tell, with y-dna:
"x" = no match at this level OR other person has display for this level turned off
"-" = person didn't test at this level
a number = genetic distance at this level
If this isn't correct, I'd love to be set straight.
As you say, FF is self-explanatory. I haven't really looked at advanced matching for mtDNA, since my mother's kit only has one match.
I'd still like to see a quick video about how to best use this report.
