  • Y-DNA Matches are wrong

Kit no 318959 has strange results.
There are no Y-12 matches but there are two at Y25, one is GD=1 at Y25. This match should at least show up at Y12. The other match is GD=2 at Y25 so it might not show up as a Y12 match.
    Has anyone seen this before?
Have attempted to contact the help desk but the new screens are useless.

    Yes, it's perfectly normal.

At 12 markers, only exact matches are shown, with one exception -- people in the same project who are GD=1 will show too.

So the first guy is probably an 11/12 match who isn't in the same project as the kit. And with no additional mutations in the 13-25 panel, he now shows up as a 24/25 match.
