Hi guys,got a L21- result today was expecting it to be positive as group admin said its very likely im positive as a lot of my matches are L21+...but then again i was expecting to be L2+ but turned out be L2- instead.

havent got much clue what to do now ,i could test for u152,any advice or help would be great.

got 33 matches at GD1 ON 12 markers but nothing after that.

Why don't you start out by telling us what you goals are? Why are you doing DNA testing? Exactly what are you trying to lean? Which DNA test have you ordered to date?

Well..i was first approached by a admin of the name group im a member in who wanted me to test so he could hopefully match some of the members back to their roots in the UK.
Im from England and the other members of my surname group are all from the US.

Unfortunatly my 67 results put me in a whole different group and i didnt match anyone in our surname group.

After that i kinda got hooked on trying to find out my own "Roots" and would like to place myself in a certain group.

I have tested for both L2 and L21 and are negative on both.

Basically my "Goals" are to find out my ancestral heritage.

It is not genealogically significant (within the last 500 years), because the numerical genetic difference is too large. But it suggests common patrilineal ancestry farther back.
