Opinions Wanted - Personalized Report?

While I await the results of my DNA tests, there is the much-discussed personalized report option at $400 or so.

For those who have purchased it, or are familiar with its material, is it worth the value add? $400 is not cheap by any means. I have the time to review and research what my readings mean. Would that make up for the $400 and use the money for supermarket needs and other things?

I would NOT recommend it.

I was very disappointed in the report I received for many reasons. The bulk of the report was generic information about DNA which could have been copied and pasted off of any DNA website. Very little of it was relevant to my particular situation. So disappointing.

It definitely was not worth the $$$$$ in my opinion.

If you re talking about the personalized Y-DNA report, it is my understanding that this is mainly useful for those already very familiar with their Y-DNA results who want more detailed information.
