  • BigY - Really Upset!!!

    I tried to order the BigY as a Christmas present for my 79 year old Dad just now.

    FTDNA customer service did not accept the order since he never had a yDNA test done. He does have an existing FTDNA account from an autosomal transfer.

    I have already tested myself for yDNA-111, WTY, Geno 2.0 & mtDNA FMS.

    I am terribly disappointed since it would have been nice to compare my yDNA SNPs with my Dad's because I know mutations can happen every generation.

    I know I can test myself but I really feel this is ridiculous.

    What do you'll think?

    Let me see what I can find out. Did you need to order using Group Project General Funds, or was this by credit card?

      I think I'd call (713) 868-1438 and ask why. I would think they would be happy to have your money.
