The release dates are valid though estimated. They are just unrelated to the batch number.
Does that mean that the batches are not done in the order that they are submitted to the lab? I'm assuming you did away with the batch calendar because customers couldn't understand why people that were in a latter batch than their own were getting their results before they got theirs?

Hi,
Each type of test has its own work flow in the lab. That even goes for different panels of Y-STR markers. Of course, there are other factors like having an extracted sample in the freezer vs having to go to storage for an extracted sample etc.
