  • Dodecad TSI30

Hi guys. Just curious if anyone out there happens to know off hand what ancestry TSI30 is supposed to be in the Dodecad oracles. This reference shows up for both my mom and myself. I am having trouble finding anything on it right now. Thanks in advance.

I found this on the K7b spreadsheet.
    TSI30 Metspalu 21 0 18.9 0 0 32.4 48.7 0
21=N,18.9=West_Asian,32.4=Southern,and 48.7=Atlantic_Baltic. So I'm not sure what population they are a reference for. I can't find anything else at the moment.

      Toscani (Tuscans from Italy).

Thanks much Javelin. Is there an easy way to look up these kinds of references when they show up?

You're most welcome! The population codes from the HapMap Project are here:

You might also see nations referred to by their two-letter internet domain code (e.g. ZA = South Africa) or by the one-to-three-letter international vehicle registration code (e.g. CDN = Canada).

Thanks so much again Javelin. I had just googled Toscani samples (after you told me) and found a page about it being HapMap. I then realized to look back at Dodecad and scroll all the way down to data sources. There are several to look through there. I'm sure it still would have taken me awhile to figure it out.
