8 wks for test to hit FTDNA, how long for results?
I but the bullet on 29 Oct 2012 and ordered a test kit for my Uncle, it's taken almost 8 weeks to get test out to Australia, do test and return. Just received notification that its been received. In your opinions, (allowing for Christmas) when do you think I should see some results?

Once the kit has been placed in a Batch, you will be able to log in to the FTDNA web site with his kit number and password and FTDNA will give you an estimated date of completion of when the kit will be completed. You will be able to follow the kit through each step of the process by logging in and seeing where they are at in the process.
That is only an estimation date, any number of things could delay that estimated date. Typically I find if all goes well, it is 6 to 8 weeks from start to finish.
