Aprl 6, 2013, I messaged a match at Ancestry; and she responded to me today, almost 8 years later. Some matches do response........but in their own timing. lOL

Wow! I think that is the longest timespan I've heard for a match to respond. I hope both of you can figure out your connection, and make some progress genealogically.

I wonder if the problem was the awful mess that Ancestry Messaging was in for a long time. They've change the format and maybe your message finally got through.
