FTDNA integrates with Geni.com and there are a number of apps that work with it:

    https://www.geni.com/corp/apps/

Personally, I don't find any of them useful when I tested them a while back and found it easier to access the site through a browser.

If you mean one for researching your family tree and accessing records like censuses, etc. then it depends on where you have a subscription. So, for example:

    link removed

Although the Mormons have an excellent free resource with a lot of important documents indexed alongside other people's family trees. They have an app:

    https://familysearch.org/mobile/tree

They have a page called "10 Cool Apps to Help You Do Your Family History":

    https://familysearch.org/blog/en/10-...amily-history/

But there are 100s of such lists with a wide variety of suggestions.

Which all goes to show that there isn't any one solution (and if there was one of the big genealogical sites would snatch them up and shut it down, sorry... integrate the best features into their on site and then archive/mothball the rest). You need to pick apps and sites that best fit your needs.

Can you be more specific? When you mention family tree, do you mean a family tree or do you mean FamilyTreeDNA the site or even the forums here?

    Requesting a family tree app

Hi everyone my name is Gustavo Woltmann and I work as an assistant in a publishers office. I would like to ask if there is an app dedicated for tracing family tree? To make it portable and more easier to trace.
Working...
