My grandson is showing as granddaughter, but the siloulette is definitely male, so does anyone know how to fix that?

If I am viewing an ancestor's tree, how can I go back one generation to explore another branch? The only option is Reset Tree View, which goes all the way back to the root.

Perhaps if you try deleting your grandson from your tree, then re-adding him again (making sure to select "son" of your child), that might correct it? Let us know if you try that.

I deleted my grandson & put him back in, although no matter how I tried to put his date of birth in, kept getting red lettering use suggested date? Should show as linked relationship like my granddaughter, but it does not at this point. So now it does not show grandson or granddaughter, but maybe it will link itself to grandson? I preferred the previous the family tree. My family situation is complicated anyways; because I am an adoptee, any my birth parents were closely related, so some of my close relations are not showing true relation anyways. Although, my daughters son should show as my grandson?

Thanks for your help & best regards,

I just used the complaints process form to complain that the Tree Search function is broken - aka when looking at other people's trees, if you are lucky enough to find a large public one, there is a Search feature, but that times out when you write a name. The expander on the new tree is also slow, and cumbersome so a decent search would be more useful. Also the trees keep timing out if you have several tabs of FTDNA windows open and you get an 'oops something went wrong' message.Lets see what happens that complaint! I use a laptop and Chrome browser and am an android user not apple but they say they test comprehensively across different browsers (modern versions).

I can't get past my great great grandparents (1st page). When I selected the arrow on a great great grandparent, I could view the next several generations(on the old version), now, nothing happens. I can't get past the first page of my tree in other words. Does this happen to everyone? If not, how can I view the rest of my tree?
