  • Why does FamilyTree make it so hard to order advanced tests?

I want to order an SNP pack, every time I hit the upgrade button, a pop up window comes up that's the same window as my shopping cart button.

But then other times when I hit that upgrade button, it takes me to a separate webpage (no pop up) where I can select advanced tests I want to purchase. Is there something wrong with what I'm doing or does Family Tree make it really difficult to get an SNP pack?

Log-in and go to your dashboard page of your myFTDNA and click the blue Upgrade button, from there at the bottom left of that page there is an Advanced Tests link.

Maybe the problem you are having is related to the device you are using to try to place the order. The "Upgrade" button and the "My Cart" button are right beside each other. If you are using a device with a small screen you could easily touch the wrong button.
