    I feel your pain. I am an illegitimate child of an adopted mother. I found nothing that peaked my interest on FTDNA, My Heritage, or GEDMatch uploading my FTDNA test where ever I could. I took an Ancestry test and got my results today. I have six first cousin matches. I have about a dozen 2nd cousin matches. Guess it's time to consider Y and mtDNA tests. Just can't really afford to take them right now.

    Which DNA tests have you taken? Where have you tested? Are you male or female?

    One of the most frustrating things is trying to find ANY information (ANYTHING) when you're an adoptee and have ZERO information on your biological family I've tried looking up the surname found on my birth certificate and nothing shows up on any DNA website I've done :'( I'm on gedmatch too.
