Well, seems that not much changes at FTDNA. It wouldn't be a typical test experience if there wasn't at least one delay.
Batch 1042, BigY-700 expected results window first date was yesterday, so of course, today, I get a note that my results are delayed two weeks (at least) with the usual caveat that "the new date is an estimate based on volume and just whenever we feel like it".
Don't change a thing, FTDNA. When you're basically the only game in town, you can charge whatever you want and be as slow as you want.

I haven't quite figured out how to get them off high center. I've tried everything from nice, well thought out letters to swearing like a longshoreman at whatever hapless customer service rep answers the phone, with about equally negative results, namely a bland, tepid apology involving rigorous quality control and high sample volume. For what it's worth, swearing is by far the most personally satisfying...I mean, if you know going in that you're not going to get anything out of it anyway, might as well clear the air.

I'm waiting on results for two Big Y 700 kits in Batch 1042, that both had the "analyzing data" stage start on 12/23. The original estimate was mid-February to early March. Then it updated to early March to mid-March, and now it is 3/16-3/30.
It would be nice if we at least received emails when the kits were further delayed. I log in every couple of weeks to see if there has been a change. I'm hoping this newest estimate sticks :/
