I had been satisfied with FTDNA until I ordered the BigY500, waiting 6 months now, "delayed" 5+ times (stopped counting)
Batch 855: Ordered 4/27/18, Batched 4/30/18
Last expected results next week. Now Bumped Again to: 10/29/2018 - 11/12/2018
Have you been in contact with FTDNA, to find out if the sample is insufficient to complete the BigY? I had a similar situation for an elderly relative, and finally after almost 5 months had to ask why it had been delayed so long. The answer was that a new sample was needed. The predicted completion dates are automatically generated, so it's best to be proactive and ask why.

Thanks for the suggestion. Would like to think if sample was not good they would ask for another, but... I did also just send a help request through the website, is that the preferred method of contact?
See what they say. They should be able to check with the lab to find out if insufficient sample is the problem, and a new sample is needed. I agree about how the lab should ask for a new sample if the original is not sufficient for a test, but sometimes it doesn't happen.
G - M201v2 SNP Pack
Batch:900
Expected:11/05/2018 - 11/19/2018
How come the count of batch number is passed my number 900 with known results completed and I’m still didn't receive any confirmation about my results?
i.e people with batch number 904 are completed, and I’m with batch number 900 not completed!!!
Is the process of the batch counting sequence is random?

Batches are created with different tests that are ready getting the same batch number. So tests that have 3 week and 12 week run time can end up with the same batch number. Your SNP pack is a test that is expected to take a little longer than a Y-12 or Y37 test. So even though the batch number is the same, it is different tests with different run times. Then there can be quality control which can make some samples in a batch take longer since there is an issue. This can make it seem a little random when some people are getting results for the same or later batch of the same test. Patience is a virtue and it is hard in our current world of instant response.

Thanks bhemph for your input,
As for me, unfortunately I couldn't see a clear and a specific guide line for the test time period! Although it was mentioned at the “Family Tree DNA Learning Center” section as a general statement…
Is it really 4 to 8 weeks period for a test run-time, or is it results publishing time?!
When our current world is claiming they have got a “latest High-tech processing & sequencing chip”, I think the immediacy is more desirable virtue as a quality standard than unjustified patience…
Anyway, I guess we as customers don’t have many options, except to express our frustrating…
Have you ever viewed the Family Tree DNA video on YouTube, "The Ideal Life of a Family Tree DNA Kit?" Somewhere in the forums, I thought a forum member broke down the times for topics in this video, but I haven't been able to find it. If I recall it correctly, it gives a good tour of the labs, with the different equipment used and times needed for various tests, and talks about batches (all after reviewing the initial process of receiving, using, and mailing back a kit). Tests will take as much time as they need to take, unfortunately.
