Work-Around for Inability to Edit Profiles in Tree

I have not been able to edit profiles that I add to my Family Tree. When I click on the profile it opens at the top of the screen and edit never appears.

I logged in on my Ubuntu (Linux) computer and there it is!

So if you have been struggling with this feature and you have an old computer lying around it worked for me!

Update

OK... So my DESKTOP running Ubuntu with the FireFox 44.0.2 browser shows the edit icon and the link works. While my laptop running the same operating system and browser shows the edit icon but the link does not work.

I ran into the same problem, and have no old computers. Is there an option to delete the person in the tree, and recreate again, if there is no way to edit her/him?
