Who has ordered a test in the last week or two?

I just upgraded a distant relative, but he owns his kit so I am wondering what the most recent batch numbers have been given out. Also, if you ordered a y test, what predicted dates are they giving currently? I don't want to bug the poor guy again, but I am very curious.

The batch number for those orders batched last Wednesday was 651. Looking at the orders for STR upgrades in that batch placed by members of the R1b-U106 Project, they're all given an "expected date" of 01/20/2016 - 02/03/2016.

Of course, "expected" and actual are not always the same. For instance, a specific DNA sample may not be very good, which could delay the date the test is completed. But 01/20/2016 - 02/03/2016 is the ballpark estimate from FTDNA, barring any problems.

Thanks Maddi! Yes, I am getting to be pretty experienced at the waiting game. I own 8 kits myself and have FF on each, mtDNA on I think 3, and yDNA on 3. I was thrilled with my last couple Y upgrades, both of which came in early... but... the I ordered these upgrades during week 2 of the holiday sale... so who knows what delays to expect! And the date range you have is what I was kind of expecting, but it is good to know! I shouldn't have to bug the relative since he SHOULD be a very close match to my dad/grandpa and we are part of a surname project, so I SHOULD see results when they come in... but I won't worry about looking until mid-January.
