  • Envelope postage paid?

    Hi!

My hubby dropped off a Family Finder familytreedna kit at the local Pack N Ship, and was told that it was ready to go - no postage needed. To my understanding the return envelopes did not previously have the postage pre-paid? Has that changed? Is there postage on the return envelope sufficient for mail within the US? Or did hubby just send off the test with no postage whatsoever?

    Thanks!

FTDNA postage is pre-paid within the US.

National Genographic postage is NOT pre-paid which my be the source of confustion. (Both are run at FTDNA)

And yes, postage is sufficient. I have mailed 8 kits. No problem with that. But... in the future, take a picture of the postage label in case you need to track it. I have had 2 of 8 kits "dissappear" for 4-5 weeks in the USPS, but ultimately they all arrived and were fine for testing.
