  • New matches but nothing there

Today I got 2 notifications of 2 new matches but when I go to the matches page there is nothing new.
    Anybody experiencing the same ?

I get nearly a constant stream of new mtdna match emails for my 2 mtdna tests: 1 FMS, 1 mtdna Plus. I don't look at them because they are always HVR1 or HVR1/HVR2 matches and also, given how many I get, sometimes several times a day, I assume they are glitches. Meanwhile no FF match notifications, ever, for 6 FF accounts and almost never Y matches for 2 accounts, though I understand the lack of Y matches. There really are almost no matches, ever, for those Y tests. But I assume I must be getting some new matches for my FF accounts, occasionally at least. Are that many mtdna tests being sold? If so, it's a pity because mtdna tests are really the least informative and helpful for ancestry and genealogy.

Same here. I received notice of two new matches. I opened matches and saw them but they immediately were gone.

I was getting those new mtDNA match notifications myself, but they all show nothing new and all my matches but 3 vanished, but FTDNA sent me a reply stating those issues resolved, not so by me...

I came on and saw that I had a new mtDNA match. However, that notification was read after I had already logged in to my account and found nothing new by way of mtDNA matches. In fact, I have no mtDNA matches showing when I check in. All gone!

Can you please fill out the contact forum or send me a private message with kit number and a contact email. I know the engineering department is still working on problems with mtDNA matching, but it wouldn't hurt to have more recent examples in case.
