I ordered a Y DNA upgrade for my brother on June 4, it's batch 626. Should have been back by end of July.

It was delayed until August 9 or 17 or something, and now it's been delayed AGAIN until August 18 or Sept 2.

Meanwhile, people are posted to the DNA Newbies list that somehow very old Y DNA testing is suddenly coming up completed on July 18.

What is running Family Tree DNA, anyway?

You know, one of a group of haplotypes I'm tracking strongly appears to have an error, and a project admin of a project that person belongs to tells me Family Tree DNA won't rerun a test unless someone pays for it. Since when won't Family Tree DNA repeat a test if there is good reason to think a result is in error?
