  • Batch 626 FF

As there seems to be huge differences when people get their results I would be glad if anybody will post when they get their FF results from batch 626.

FWIW, I have a FF batch 624. My "Expected" date range is 17 June-1 July. That was the original range. It has not changed at all.

I was actually coming over to start a thread to see if any 622's or 623's had gotten their results yet!

The thread for 622 has already started: http://forums.familytreedna.com/showthread.php?t=37802

Yeah, I saw that. It looks like 1 622 FF has returned already. If that processing time stays consistent, you should be looking at results around July 6th (though I have no idea if the July 4th holiday will affect it).

          Let's hope for the best!

I have a FF on 614 and nothing. I wish I understood these batch numbers...

Ouch, Roberta! What's the expected date that you'll have results?

                  614

                  06/24/2015 - 07/08/2015

This is the second delay. It is my moms kit.

                    Batch 614, too

Same here, Roberta. Batch 614 for FF and yet another delay.

While most of my many testing experiences at FTDNA (autosomal, yDNA, mtDNA) have been okay-to-positive, I'm starting to be reminded of the time a few years ago when everyone's autosomal transfers from 23andMe ended up taking six months - and FTDNA ignored all the "WTH??!!"...

Payment upon results release would speed up process

What you think? I think it would be fair.

My comment is not about FTDNA, but about a recent business climat in general...

I am seeing less and less opportunities to buy anything COD, and more and more that my credit card is charged the same minute I am making a payment. Most likely due to slimmer and slimmer profit margins.

                          FTDNA says:

                          Expected FamilyFinder 626 ==> 07/01/2015 - 07/15/2015

If I get the results before 1st of July I will be glad, if I will get the results on 1st of July I will be satisfied, if I will get the results on 15th of July I will be disappointed (why the last day, why not the first day?) and if I will get the results after the 15th of July I will be angry and file a complaint at BBB.

Being in Europe, how do you know about the BBB?... Regardless, I don't think FTDNA has any reason to fear your threat, nor do I think it will speed up your result in any way.

I've learned that being professional and asking politely for clarification has far more productive results.

Reading this forum helps knowing a lot of things, not only about BBB but also about FTDNAs habits. To me it seems you have learned nothing but were just one of the lucky few instead.
I am polite if FTDNA delivers on time, otherwise I will do what I consider my right as a paying customer, regardless of anyone begging for pöliteness. "Mercy me, don't complain to BBB" will hit deaf ears.
No Ma'am, I have read too many too bad stories here and on other social medias like Facebook to be forgiving.

Edit: Do you doubt I am from Europe? Is my English that good?
