Sometimes, there is just no place that makes sense to start a new thread so here goes....
Are the FTDNA kits that are sent out in sequential order? I think they are because I ordered five at one time and they were in sequential order.
The reason I ask this is because I became curious as to how many kits have gone out from FTDNA in a certain time period.
I ordered a kit on 10/14/2014 #371875 and another kit on 2/21/2015 #405247. So, that's 33,372 kits in around four months and that doesn't even begin to tell the story. On each of those kits I've ordered Y tests and snps. So, just imagine all the kits that go out and all the tests that are performed on them.......much more than the 33,000+ kits than went out in four months.
FTDNA does not seem to have the equipment or the personnel to handle the in-flow.
Is the problem the quality of the scientists, the IT department, or equipment or is it the lack of equipment or lack of personnel....and work hours? Or, is a combination?
