FTDNA database may be large, but only a portion of it consists of Family Finder tests. Other tests in database are yDNA and mtDNA.

I am not sure what their number of Family Finder tests are in comparison to Ancestry and 23andMe.

A MyOrigins update would be nice.

I think (hope?) the new matches are still downloading. My sister only has one 5th-remote match so far, though she obviously will have more (me for one), when all her matches are listed.

Another thing to consider is that Ancestry has far lower standards for autosomal matching than does Family Tree DNA. I know this because I persuaded some matches at Ancestry to transfer to Family Tree DNA. Once in the Family Tree DNA database, some no longer matched me. Luckily, since I have a field of tested relatives here at Family Tree DNA, they did match some of them.
