    Why are kit numbers missing on the ftdna site for one's yDna matches. ...........and even Mtdna matches.

    I've never seen kit numbers for any my matches' kits (FF, Y or mtDNA). The only kit numbers I have are for the different kits I administer (10 kits). When a kit is uploaded to Gedmatch then you can see the kit numbers but that's the only time I'm aware of (except for your own kit of course).

    I meant to add you are able to see kit numbers if you belong to different surname projects etc but in those cases names are not attached to the kits for you to view.

      i find it strange that on, one's site there are names and no kit numbers and yet when you go into a Ftdna project , you get both.
      It would be far easier if they had both instead of jumping from site to site
