Still waiting for my results from 601. I got my FF results back on 1/07/15. Now showing a delay with new dates of 02/11/2015 - 02/25/2015.
There are people still waiting for y results from batch 595 on orders that I believe go back to early November and late October. I also have a y111 upgrade in batch 601 and I have received results for all panels except one. I got my results on 1/30, but they are pretty much useless until the last panel comes in. Since there are many folks who still haven't gotten results for batches 595, 596, and so on, I don't really place much hope in getting my final panel by the projected completion date, which is the same as the date that shows on your order. The company at one time was telling people that it probably would have most of the backlog cleared out by March, and so I really doubt that those of us in 601 are going to get full results until March. I imagine that the early March time frame is probably much closer to the truth than the projected completion dates appearing on the myFTDNA pages.
In my experience, the y tests have always taken much longer to complete than the FF test. I have had to wait beyond the projected completion date for most of the y upgrades I have ordered over the years.

Yes, a very reasonable post showing patience and common sense. I have one cousin's kit which is 596 batched 11/13 and even though that bothers me I'm not going to get too angry when I see others before me still waiting. I think there is even one person on these threads waiting for Y37 in batch 590 If there is one person talking about their wait in 590 then there must be others out there too who don't come to the forums to complain. I, also, have a Y111 for another cousin which was batched on 12/30 batch 603. So, that's been six weeks but I'm obviously not going to start complaining until it's been twelve weeks or longer.

My order is also Batch 601. It was due January, then it was Feb. 12th (today) after a long delay just getting the sample logged in their system. Logging in today, results are now due Feb 25th.
This is for an order submitted and paid for Dec. 2, 2014. One can't work with this company and expect reliability and clear status.
Seeing that others are also in the same boat is helpful. The company is not good at communicating. I personally feel jerked around by Family Tree DNA and its careless disregard of customers.
Hopefully these low standards don't apply inside the processing lab.

Relax. You're probably looking at no sooner than the middle of March. I'm in batch 596 and the new expected date is up to 2/25. Meant to add my order was submitted at the end of October 2014 and was batched 11/13.
Tenn4ever I didn't mean to be inconsiderate. I am aware that people are waiting for batches ahead of 601. I certainly don't feel that my batch is any more important than those. This is the Grumbles and Gripes section, is it not? I thought posting the dates might help someone in the later batches estimate a time frame for theirs. I know when I sent mine in (and before coming to the forums) I thought I would get them a heck of a lot quicker. Perhaps they just need to put the estimated results date further out from the very beginning--like 10-12 weeks. That way people are pleasantly surprised to get them instead of unpleasantly surprised when the dates keep changing.
Mine was batched on 12/18/15.

I know what you mean. I'm not blaming you. Just wanting to let you know that it's probably going to be longer even than you expect. I'm waiting on a Y37 batch 596 (batched 11/13) and a Y111batch 603 batched 12/30 and they have the exact same expected date Last summer Y37 tests were coming back in three weeks . I had those come back that fast. FF tests used to take 8 weeks. Now they take a lot less time than that, maybe as soon as four weeks. I think it's partly a marketing strategy. I just think they should advise people who purchase the tests that the wait is twelve weeks for a Y test.
Is anyone still waiting on a test for mtFull Sequence in batch 601? I have one that has been delayed twice. I sent an inquiry via email to FTDNA on the 19th of February and have yet to hear from them.

When were you batched? My mtDNA full sequence test took the longest of any test I've sent in for.

It was batched 12/18/2014.
I had another mtFull Sequence in batch 600. It was batched 12/11/2014 and completed 1/27/2015. I also had an upgrade mtPlus to mtFull Sequence that was in batch 600. It was batched 12/11/2014 and completed 1/6/2015!
batch 601 test a Y-STR in advanced tests, after 10 weeks wait contacted them, now got reply There has been a reporting error which prevented the results from being posted to your account in a timely manner, they reported to IT, will fix as soon as possible

I have a y37 in 601 with no results yet either. Wonder if this just applies to your account or affects others. Haven't called them yet, figuring the help desk didn't need another person asking the same questions, but maybe time I start. This is my first ever DNA test. Hasn't been a very positive experience yet. If I knew 3 month waits were commonplace when I submitted, it would not have bothered me so much. Just wish they would communication with us and let us know what's going on rather that just changing expected completion dates saying they was a delay.
