    I have a Y67 in 602.

Considering the way its sounding on the forums, I'm preparing myself for another few rounds of delays. I'm trying to convince myself to just plan for the results to come in sometime in April (but I keep checking multiple times a day anyway).

To give you guys a little hope, I had a Y37 in batch 601 come in yesterday. Good luck in getting your results soon.

          Earl.

Right you were. Now it's telling me they're expected to be due March 11th at the "latest!" They already delayed it the first time until February 25th! I am getting fed up with this. I ordered in November.

              Still waiting on 601 results

I'm still waiting on ydna results from batch 601. The new date for completion is supposedly from 2/25 to 3/11. I've already spoken with the AG's office in my state and have my complaint form ready for submission. If my results aren't in by 3/11, I guess I'll be moving forward with my complaint for not notifying customers about the temporary lack of availability of the product (the yDNA STR tests) due to supply issues and the subsequent backlog created as a result of the upgrade process. The company, by not notifying its customers of these issues, placed its risks of doing business on the shoulders of its customers by marketing a test that it could no longer process until it upgraded its equipment and tested the new process. It is ridiculous the way this issue was handled by the company.

I think you are looking at another month. My 596 Y37 results just came in. That's six batches before yours. So add 4 - 6 weeks to Feb 26.

I don't think it's that simple. Ftdna seem to be clearing out their backlog of y-dna tests from 59x through 601. So results are coming in randomly from this range. Anybody with a 601 should have hope for near term results. The people who need to worry the most are 602, 603, 604, 605, 606, 607, 608, 609, 610, 611, ... who don't know when their samples will begin to be processed ...

I think we won't have a sense of the timing of and rate at which testing is progressing until we start seeing results from 602, 603, 604, ... and can use this data to extrapolate ...

I think you are correct, because I believe a couple of others belonging to 601 posted that they got their results on another thread. It does not appear that FTDNA is going in batch order, although it seems that folks with older batch numbers have been the ones posting y results the last few days.

                        Hi ekc123,

I sent you a private message for a status update on your kit but I didn't hear back from you and see you have posted since then. Please take a look if you have not and get back to me if you would like.

Is it work speaking to someone at FTDNA to see if we can expect our results by the 11th?

I'm upset, my Batch 602 test is a gift for somebody I expected for their birthday. Which has now past, because I didn't expect this insane delay. I ordered in NOVEMBER. Before the Christmas sales begun, I believe.
It was batched late December, but I believe that those who ordered their tests before the Christmas sale begun should have priority because we didn't get a discount and we have been waiting longer than those who bought in the sale. Does anybody else agree with me?

I didn't expect this. Had I known there would be a huuuuge sale and everybody would have their results delayed, I would not have bothered with the test.

I don't expect a result by March 11th, I know I'm going to wake up that morning excited and check my FTDNA and see that it's been pushed another few weeks, like what happened to me on Feb 25th and I'll have to explain to the birthday boy that it's another few weeks away. And then in a few weeks I'll probably have to tell him the same thing.

I'm just wondering if it's worth asking FTDNA if we can trust them with these "expected" result dates and if they can be honest with us and tell us the true expected dates. I'm expecting sometime in May at this point. Maybe.

Good for FTDNA though, their business is booming. I'm happy for them in that sense, but really cheesed off because I have disappointed somebody close to me by not presenting their birthday present in time.

That's great. I finally received the last panel I was waiting on for my yDNA 111 upgrade. It sounds like the company is finally working on clearing out the backlog. Hopefully the others waiting in this batch will receive results soon.
