How Many People actually get Family Finder Results in the 3-4 week time Frame given..

Lemuel, my mother's family finder test was also batched on 01/01/2015 and also still no results....

I sent in a family finder test for myself on 12/16/2013 and it didn't get batched until 01/28/2014, but was finished on 02/18/2014.

The batch dates may not mean that much.

Thanks much for the messages, for it's good to know that we are in the same boat, not having FF results from Batch 603. Hopefully, all of our results will in come by tomorrow -- the last day on the anticipated results range they gave us. When I tested in October, it was exactly fifteen days between the "received in lab" date and the day the results came in, while with my Dad's test, it has now been thirty. I knew, with the Christmas sale, that it might take somewhat longer, but it is a bit jarring to see kits that were batched and received later already having their results. Anyway, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that today or tomorrow will be the day.

Thanks, Lemuel. I, too, am glad to know we are together in that same boat. I was starting to worry as of this morning. Perhaps my results are phasing with my mother's results. Not sure. I just hope we all have them by the end of the day tomorrow 2/5.

Yes, I hope for this as well... I just tried logging into my mothers account, and it the timer just keeps spinning, so maybe they are uploading the results?? Fingers crossed.... :-)

Just signed in, and still nothing on my Mom's account. However I did check my own account and got some bad news.

"Results for your Big Y testing have been delayed. We have updated your predicted completion date, and action by you is not usually required. Note that predicted dates are an estimate and subject to lab volume and quality control."

They've pushed the expected date on my Big Y out to 2/25/15-3/11/15. It was batched on 12/10/2015.

But this month is a short one and it always seems to fly by fast. Before you know it, you'll be in the new expected time frame. And hopefully your results will be sooner than later.

I think the most frustrating part is the time frame they give isn't what it should be, if a test has failed first time round they should report it as failed, when I posted my dads test based on how long it took for my own kit last year I had an estimate of the 5th March as results day and I get the feeling this is what it will be, 8 weeks from being batched to getting results, just wish they would report to reflect the test status..

My son's FF is in batch 604, batched 1/8/2015 and tomorrow will be 4 weeks exactly, and no results as of today. Our results time frame is currently listed as 1/29/2015-2/12/2015, so it would seem we are getting his results in 4-5 weeks IF we get them by the 12th. I hope so, I am getting tired of waiting lol.

My sample is another story, it has been over 2 1/2 weeks since I mailed my dna sample and it still isn't even showing up as received much less batched. Very frustrating considering my geno kits for myself and my husband were mailed a day later and they have been running for over a week already. They all go to Houston Texas, so the delay makes no sense.

I've been spoiled in the past, I think. The average time for my own Family Finder tests has been two weeks six days so I was expecting my Batch 605 tests to come through today, being three weeks. If there are so many Batch 603s and 604s to come in, they ought to be first. I know there is some overlap between batches.

My mother received four new distant matches today but my other kits had none. If I filter out the third party matches, these ones stay in but I don't know if that filters out Ancestry transfers or not. I'm hoping they were from regular batches and are a sign that more tests are completing and being released.

I'm in the same boat over here and haven't any results yet. This is getting to be ridiculous considering I am waiting on four tests, and I see other people in batches that came after the batches I'm in getting results weeks ago and I still haven't any results on any test.

Thank you! Yeah, my sample was sent 3 weeks ago as of tomorrow... still nothing to say they have it as of today. Still no customer service reply to me asking if they received it. As for my son... I have to log on to his account to see if there are any results yet. Today is 4 weeks exactly for his FF. I am anxious to see his... we know a lot of my family history, and hardly any of his dad's family history. His paternal grandmother just did 23and me before she died a couple months ago... and found a half sister, so we know there is more family out there!
