I'm also waiting on this now 'overdue' batch 602. I notice from the FtDNA facebook page that there are a few of us still waiting on tests from that one, yet people are talking about getting their 603 results, so I find this a bit disconcerting. This is why I am calling 602 overdue but it's only just past the average time really. I expect it's about to complete.

However - results are rolling in again. Across my three kits, there were a total of 10 individual new matches for 16th and 2 for the 17th. A few people on email lists who felt their Ancestry.com transfers were delayed have had them come through. There is definitely some progress.
The main confusion comes from some just saying I got results, I got my results, I got my results - I am so happy, but they never clarify what results they had just received. OK, some make it known that they had received their DNA test results...

Anyway, I have noticed that today (across multiple kits) new Y-DNA 37 marker results were posted, and also Y-DNA 12 markers. So it looks like the new lab equipment is working.

Could you tell what batches these were from. I know it doesn't really mean much but we all know what batches were primarily involved in the bottleneck. If they are clearing out some of those that would indeed be good news for many.

It at least is showing progress. Which is good news.

Mine in 598 never went back and is still in the 1-2 weeks but it's been that way now for a while.

They got their Y results from batch 603?

        Y results or autosomal?

        • SNP batch 599

I received results from a single snp order that was in batch 599 yesterday. Still waiting on a FMS and second snp for the same order/batch for this same family member. Still, progress is progress.

Over on the Batch 595 thread I saw where Jacob Metz just got his Y37/67 results yesterday so there is indeed some headway now.

These are not results of my kits, so no batch information. Members of my project got additional matches yesterday, that is how I knew.

The issue seems to mainly be limited to the folks that ordered tests back in the October/November time frame and were not told about the delays and supply problems.
And September, as is my case. I believe there are people still waiting from before then, as well.

The delays are bad enough, but its the total lack of: communication, setting proper expectations, keeping the customer informed on a regular basis, that has me fed up.

Still waiting, 4 months now, Batch 590 Y37.

I'm still waiting, too, for my husband's Y37 test (batch 590). This Thursday it will be 16 weeks since the batch date. In August, my brother's Y37 test took 3 weeks!

Good luck to you both! Please update us here when, or should I say "if", you ever get results back.

                    • A project member returned his kit on 30 October 2014, was batched 6 November 2014 (595) and yesterday received his 67 marker results.

Cool, I also saw on the ISOGG FB page a batch 594 Y111 came in today or late last night.

                        • Well I'm still waiting. I just sent them what could be described as a strongly worded email. I would post it here, but I'll just wait to see what they say. In 593, the forgotten batch.

That's good news. I have my y111 upgrade in 601, but so far I have only received results for one panel, probably because I had an individual STR marker tested from that panel a couple of years ago. Hopefully, the others will follow in the next couple of weeks.

                              • Y-DNA logjam broken?

As administrator of the Harvey Y-DNA project I initially had 5 kits held up because of the primer disappearance situation.
Here is how things stack up as of today :

                                Number ordered received batch #
                                #1.........9/25/14...1/3/15....592
                                #2.........9/29/14...1/21/15...593
                                #3.........9/23/14...N/A.......596
                                #4........10/23/14...N/A.......596
                                #5........10/19/14...N/A.......596
