I wish I had a dancing smiley . The results for my cousin's Y37 Batch 596 came in this morning.
I'm glad this thread has been on here to vent otherwise I would have been bugging customer support a long time ago. Yesterday was the first message I sent and today the results came in.
Could you please tell us your wording of your message so that we can send the same message and getting our results as well?
I'm sorry but I don't remember what the message said exactly. I didn't 'save' it and don't know of a way to recover it from the 'customer support' page. That's where I sent it. It was polite but firm. I'll send you a private message.
I remember someone else on this thread or another one of the threads which had to do with delays wrote that they had received a result delay update but then the next day they got their results. That's basically what happened with my kit. The result update came in a couple days ago (for another months delay) and then the next thing I know...I get the results. That's okay with me but a little strange. It seems like if the results didn't come in the last date which are expected ie 2/24 then the system automatically registers another delay on the account when actually the results could come in the next day after the computerized last day on the previous listed date. Seems to be a computer system thing.
Edited to add:
Are you waiting on a Family Finder test? Maybe there is a problem with your sample. I know some of those tests come back in 3 -4 weeks but I've had nine kits processed for Family Finder and some of those kits took 8 weeks for results from the time they were batched....NOT FROM THE TIME THEY WERE ORDERED.

Your observation is 100% right.
Last night official posts from FTDNA (presented here by Darren) actually confirmed that the individual kits completion dates are not tracked, but the automatic timer keeps adjusting the ETA.
I think one thing we have to remember is that we can't compare the wait time for the different kinds of test to each other.
A Family Finder test is going to be different from one of the Y tests and even the Y test time frames could be different if they are upgrades and then the Big Y is a different ballgame. You can't compare apples to oranges.
My father's Y-37, batch 600, ordered 12/6 from an existing FF sample, resulted yesterday. Oodles of GD 1 and 2 matches at 25 that all fall apart to leave zero matches at 37. Boo.
I am even logged in with my kit number: E19463
The only thing I keep secret is my password to this kit number.
If you are writing on your own behalf, it's o.k. to post your own kit number. But a project administrator can't do so for a project member without their consent
