Yes, with all the waiting I've had thoughts (horror of horrors) that they either lost a couple thousand DNA samples, mislabeled them or got them all mixed up.... I try not to think about that.
I do want to report that one of my cousin's Y37 results which came on 12/30 never had a haplogroup prediction but finally yesterday it was predicted. So, that made me happy.
Plus, one of the markers on his Y37 changed by one degree and now matches his 2nd cousin. Now they are only 1 gd apart. Why would this change after three weeks?
Also, this same cousin is waiting on a Y111, Batch 603, and when I was looking at his string results for his Y37 I noticed that several sections of his Y111 already has markers, not all, but some.
You can say whatever you want, but FTDNA does not have control of their business right now. I still have not heard from them after they sent me a message on Facebook that they would contact me as soon as their email server was back up and running. That was at noon today. Has their email been down all day, I don't think so.
Batch 601, y67 to y111 upgrade, original due date 1/29
Posted overnight 1/24 with full results and match list.
Batch 599. y37 to y67 upgrade, original due date 1/15.
Still pending. New due date 1/29.
Batch 602, y67 new, original due date 2/5.
Still pending. New due date 2/19,
Batch 603, y37 new, original due date 2/12.
Still pending. New due date 2/26.
That's good. I also have my test in 601 and it is also a 67 to 111 marker upgrade, but I have not had any results posted other than 1 panel that was run a couple of years ago for an individual STR marker test.

You are correct. I believe they get a lot of their business during 'holiday' sales, but they don't have the capacity to handle the orders. There have been several instances of problems in the past and they normally seem to pop up during their sales periods. I'm not saying that that is what happened in this case, but only that FTDNA has a long history of this sort of thing, or at least that has been my own experience. Hope you get your issue resolved soon.
The 22nd of January milestone was reached... 10 STR panels were moved to some time in February. Family Finder came back on Monday. And no news about Big Y.
These were three different kits in different batches, that shared the expected completion date of the 8th of January 2015.

My husband's batch 590 results are in, and I compared his results from today to the previous results. Besides the fact that he two of his markers had been blanks and now have values, one of the other markers changed by one number, too. Everything else was the same-- I'm curious about that.

Information I received on the 23rd from an inside source.
"additionally, I know some kits are having to have 1-5 STRs re-run to get the full results posted."
