Starting surname project

The surname I am testing has no project. I applied to start one. I am told it will be March before new surnames are accepted. Why so long?

The surname I am testing has no project. I applied to start one. I am told it will be March before new surnames are accepted. Why so long?

That was March 2014

Anyway, last week we were promised that FTDNA would start processing the applications. The backlog seems to be huge, so you might need to wait, but recent posts in the forum seem to indicate that the new projects are being approved
