Add More Populations to Population Finder!

Add more reference populations to the Population Finder Tool. I understand it's still in Beta, but the forum posts alone should be enough to illustrate how much people are interested in using this tool. It's a shame that people have to download their results and send them to outside researchers in order to get accurate results due to the dearth of references populations at FTDNA.

FTDNA had stated it's on their to do list. We should probably expect a PF update with more populations later this year / early next year. Let's it sooner than later.

In that case ^ , I'll wait until next year to have a Family Finder test done. I don't have many living relatives left to compare with.

Yes, more populations please, especially European.

Hello FTDNA Team and fellow participants,

Yes, please add more populations, especially European ethnic groups.

PF and other companies tests seem to do reasonable job if person is mixed from different continents(Europe, Africa, Asia), but can never seem to differentiate well between different European groups(German, French, Irish, Spanish, etc.)

Sounds like a good case for doing FF. If you try that you may well find you have a lot more living relatives than you thought.
