"Advanced Permissions" option in PROJECTS is unacceptable!

I know! Isn't it a shame, it's hard to even find these forums! I called today & got email for groups department, I am emailing now with a link to this thread & one other thread about the same exact subject in the project administrators discussion area of this forums. An administrator in that thread said he knew of some administrators that if a member don't comply, they just KICK CUSTOMER OUT OF THE PROJECT! I posted another thread about needing to make forums more easily accessible (like a direct link in the dashboard would be perfect!)

If you want a response from FTDNA itself why not contact them directly? You are not very likely to get a response on here from them.

As an admin I'd like for my project members to be able to grant me a "see everything - change nothing" option.

I am making a BIG REQUEST. PLEASE SOMEONE AT FTDNA COMPANY REPLY TO THIS.
I JOINED A FEW PROJECTS, they administrsators want FULL/ADVANCED ACCESS TO MY DNA. I would have NO problem with that EXCEPT the option to update/edit my contact information & MORE IMPORTANTLY also edit/update my benneficiary! THAT Option is not acceptable! Mr. James Miller made a great suggestion to remedy this problem. Have a SECONDARY BENNEFICIARY, where I could list someone else or even a project as benneficiary. I would love to "TRUST" project administrators, I know they mean well & are sincere in giving verbal assurance that those edit/update options will not be used or misused. But I just have to be honest, it's hard to trust people & companies nowadays. I would love to take their WORD to the bank but unfortunately, I CANNOT & THIS OPTION IN THE PROJECT MANAGEMENT, ADVANCED PERMISSIONS NEEDS TO BE ELIMINATED OR ability to "uncheck" specifically these 2 options. Family Tree DNA is asking too much in my opinion & I do love this company & I want to be able to utilize these projects that you offer ☺ I know that this will have to be an issue that only FTDNA Administration can fix & is beyond the abilities of project administrsators, so if these projects administrsators can't really help me too much without giving them advanced permissions, I guess I will have to leave the projects that REQUIRE it in order to really help me.
