Forum button on Home page

Where did the resource button go on the Home page. Also, the forums button has disappeared. The only way I could get to the forums was to use a separate URL.

Scroll down to the bottom of the FTDNA home page for the link to "Forums" under "COMMUNITY".

Makes more sense to have the Forums link at the top of the FTDNA home page rather than the bottom.

Must be another user experience improvement from FTDNA.

Jimbirk, maybe you are hitting a different server than I am. My home page doesn't have a COMMUNITY section at the bottom, and no Forums link. There is, however, a link to the Learning Center. That page does have a COMMUNITY section at the bottom, but there is no Forum link in that section or any of the other sections.

However, the Learning Center page has not (yet) been updated, and it still has a Resources item in the top menu. That item does still have a link to the Forums. You might want to bookmark that link before it, too, disappears.

Different users get different home pages ???

They took a convenient link easily accessed by an user friendly button and turned it into a PITA to find.

Here's the route you now need to take to get to Forums:
Click on Learning Center. Under "About" click on Learning Center Site Map. At the top of the new page, click on Resources to get the menu that has the Forums link.

I just keep it as a bookmark, which I rarely use, because I'm one of those that keeps a browser window open all the time, with the FTDNA forums as one of the tabs.

I had a terrible time trying to find the link to the forums. Maybe they don't want us to easily find the forums anymore. It used to be at the top under resources.

I saved the link in my favorites list years ago and have never had a problem.

Your Home Page=scroll down to bottom

Open "Learning Centre" and "Resourses" is still at top of the page with the Forums listed - suggest "Bookmarking" the link as it might disappear anytime

What I used to do -
1] Type familytreedna.com in the URL and go to that page
2] Scroll down to bottom of the screen
3] Look in Right-Most column for the word "Forums"
4] Click on the word "Forums"

The ONLY THING THAT HAS CHANGED - #3 now is
3] Look in Column 2nd from the Left for the word "Forums"

aside -
a)do not recall what the column titles were before, so they may be the same or may have changed - but currently, 2nd from Left is titled "COMMUNITY" - Right-Most Column is titled "SUPPORT"
b) when I click on "Learing Center" in the Right-Most Column, I go to the Learning Center.
At the top of the Learning Center is a row with words "DNA Tests" / ""Projects" / "Resources" -- and clicking "Resources" there gets a drop-down menu with the three choices "Learning Center" / "Forums" / "Glossary" - good to know one can get to Forums that way, but, at least for me, totally unnecessary.
