Transfer data from "Genes for Good"?

I searched for an answer to this but didn't find it. Suppose someone participates in UMICH's "Genes for Good" project and downloads their data file. I understand the GEDmatch can upload and use that file but FTDNA does not list "Genes for Good" as being transferable. Can the file be uploaded? Is there a way to convert their file to look like a supported format? Just curious.

FTDNA does not accept, so then one will have to forgo usage of the FTDNA database, there is always Gedmatch.....

I imagine if FTDNA starts noticing imputed/altered tests, they will discontinue their autosomal transfers.
