  • Unable to View Match Trees

As of today I am unable to open the tree of any of my matches. This is the message received: "Looks like you
aren't authorized to view this family tree."

    Anyone else having this problem?

I only tried to view one new match yesterday and I also received that message.

I also had this issue however, it was only on a few matches, the rest I am able to look at their trees. That is when the next issue arises, people that have trees you can look at however they have every relative on it marked private and so the tree is useless.

        Spinning

Every single tree link I click on just gives me the spinning circle ad nauseum. Why is this so problematic so often?!?!?

          Unable to View Match Trees

Thank you for letting me know that others are having the same problem. I still cannot access trees.

I and several others in a facebook group also have this message with an eeking polevaulter, although the tree owner has specified that matches should see the tree. The solution has been to set the options for deceased people to Public rather than Matches.

I (and others) have reported this as a bug, and hope it will be addressed by FTDNA soon.

              Cannot Open Trees

I am so frustrated in not being able to open the trees of my mtDNA matches. I've written to FTDNA twice, and I have not received a response from them. I am very disappointed in FTDNA.

Any feedback from FTDNA on this issue yet?
