New Trees and Suggested Match Links

While adding a pedigree tree to the Family Trees here at FTDA, I've found the suggested match link pop up to be most annoying. Is there anyway to stop this feature? If there isn't away to stop the link suggestions, can one be added?

The supposed matches have nothing to do with individuals I'm adding, except perhaps share common initials.

Same for me

This is of no practical use. Also, it is showing immediate close family members (1st cousins with same surname) as a connection. OBVIOUS! That's why they're on the tree.
