  • my tree attached to my matches?

    <sigh>
    My apologies if this is a duplicate post, but I only just found this and a quick search shows no other posts about it.

    I'm looking at the results of an x-match report. When I click on a match's "little green family tree", I get my own...

    on every one of them.

    Why is this?

    I don't see a way to edit my post, so I'll just do it this way.

    CORRECTION: I wasn't looking at the x-match report. It was my list of pending relationships. There were 4. All had the green pedigree icon. When I clicked on any of them, my own tree was displayed.

      You only have a short time in which you can edit your own post. I do not know how long it is. During that time you'll see a "Edit" button near the "Quote" button.

        You can edit your own post only within 15 minutes, as measured by the time from original Save to the last Save.

          K,

          Your tree isn't attached to the other person's kit. There's a bug where sometimes clicking on a match's tree icon shows the tree from your own account instead. Usually logging out of your account and logging back in, and/or clearing cache, will resolve the issue.
