I can not find the proper forum for this question so I will start here first. I called but was on hold for so long I gave up.

When I first signed up I selected to be able to log in automatically without having to enter my kit number and password each time. I now want to change that and am unable to find how to change it. I've looked every where on my account and all the settings.

    Help.

There's no setting in your account to disable that -- you'll need to just delete the appropriate cookie that was stored in your web browser.

If you don't know how to do that:

This wikiHow teaches you how to delete all saved cookies from your web browser in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. Cookies are pieces of saved data in your browser that help inform the content you see. Deleting your cookies may...

Choose your browser, then look for the instructions to delete a specific cookie (rather than clearing ALL cookies).

You'll want to find the familytreedna.com cookies. You'll probably have several, though I don't know offhand which one stores the kit number & password. So if you can't identify the correct one, you can just delete all the familytreedna.com cookies.

PS. Sometimes your browser is actually storing your password, rather than it being stored in a cookie. So if deleting the familytreedna.com cookies doesn't do what you want it to do, then you'll need to check into your browser's password storage options.
