Automaticly adding Surnames from GEDCOM not always desired

I uploaded my GEDCOM file and noticed that it automatically added all surnames included in the file to my surnames. This is not a very good option for Scandinavian family trees, since surnames was not family names until the 1900s. Before that, a surname was "son of xxx" or "daughter of xxx", this is not interesting when comparing with your matches.

I now have to delete 20 pages of surnames, being careful not to delete the 10-15 that I did add manually before loading GEDCOM.

This functionality should be optional.

If we could search surnames along with place of birth

...or search for both name, place and date of birth it would be useful even for Scandinavian -son,- dotter names.
