Always good to see some positivity out here, and I assume that this is thanks to yDNA, which is the red-headed stepchild of DNA for the general public, who have no idea how powerfully it can bolster, if not totally prove, a plausible historical/genealogical hypothesis.

    William Bowers 1787 - 1860 Major Breakthrough

Thanks to DNA testing results we have made a major breakthrough for William Bowers 1787 Virginia - 1860 Arkansas. DNA matches have clearly identified 13 DNA matches to two of his siblings; George Bowers 1783 Virginia - 1856 Carroll County, VA and Andrew Jackson Bowers Jr. 1791 Rockbridge County, VA - 1849 Grainger County, VA. Their father, my 5th Great, has been identified as Andrew Bowers Sr. 1753 York Co. PA - 1833. There seems to be some question about where he died. We have been searching for concrete evidence of William's family for over 20 years.
