  • How can you find out your MNS Blood Group?

My genetic autosomal data from 23andMe and FamilyTreeDNA does NOT include rs7682260, the SNP that allows you to view your MNS Blood Group. I would like to know whether I am the MM, MN or NN group.

The rs7682260 (A) allele indicates the N antigen (leucine) that is the ANCESTRAL antigen and is found in gorillas. In other words, the N variant/antigen came before the M antigen and is the PRECURSOR to the M antigen. Gorillas existed before chimpanzees.

The rs7682260 (G) allele indicates the M antigen (serine) that is the MUTANT antigen of N, and M is found in chimpanzees.

The T "Thomsen" antigen is supposedly a precursor to the M and N antigens!

Anyways, what's the easiest or cheapest way to find out your MNS Blood Group (rs7682260)?
