Biggest Holiday Sale Ever! - Or FTDNA Doesn't Know What Year This Is?

When I login as a group administrator, I am greeted with this message:

"The 2017 Holiday Sale is Here!

We have several discounts on our testing during the Holiday Sale, which will end on December 31st at 11:59 pm CST."


Either this is the biggest sale ever if it doesn't end till Dec. 31, 2017, or FTDNA doesn't know what year this is!

Perhaps FTDNA is now following the auto manufacturers' convention, in which 2017 cars are introduced in September 2016 (or perhaps April 2016 ?).
