I just noticed the ancientOrigins on my dashboard (or, I guess it's Ancient European Origins?). Very cool. My results are:
12% Metal Age Invader
42% Farmer
45% Hunter Gatherer
0% Non-European
Interestingly, my results only total 99%. MyOrigins also only add up to 99%, and I understand that is a result of statistical rounding. However, in the description of Non-European, it is stated there is not enough genetic data to elaborate and to refer to your myOrigins if you have Non-European results. On myOrigins I do show 1% North African (on 23andMe I show a small amount of Subsaharan African). Is it possible that missing 1% from my ancient results could include African contributions? For example, if it was less than 1%? My thinking is that even with statistical rounding, there is at least .5% something not European.
