From the amount of "twiddling" that I did with my matches and family tree - it certainly appeared that they were connected. But it also appeared that there was an underlying algorithm connected with the match results.

It would certainly be useful to have FTDNA announce/explain these things prior to rolling-them-out! But this really will be a _HUGE_ change to the better!
