GEDCOMs
We will eventually fix the existing GEDCOMs that have issues, but deleting and re-uploading will fix the problem right away.

This Morning's Issue Fixes
Hi,
This is what we are pushing to production this morning. We have also done several more fixes for the separate server where images such as personal profile pictures are stored.
- Autosomal DNA Transfer orders will go back to being assigned a B kit prefix. They were not supposed to receive a completely numeric number.
- Kits that are ordered through the GAP were not becoming a member of the project. This is now fixed and the newly ordered kit will be a member.
- Users who placed an order through the new cart were getting an error on their myFTDNA Genealogy tab. This is the portion of their user profile that contains the GEDCOM upload, surnames, and the most distant ancestor. This error has been fixed moving forward and all kits that received the error have been updated.
- Text has been added to the Autosomal DNA transfer landing page noting which version of the 23andMe file we accept.

Does that mean that statistics should be fixed? I do not see that that has happened..
Anyone who had an existing kit did not always get a B number..I did not, my son did not, at least 3 of my cousins etc.
Some of them came through the GAP and some did not.. 2 cousins I know called and had the Desk do it for them.. I did my own..
My Stats are still off by 5 FF kits on the largest group..
They are the ones that disappeared when everything crashed whenever it was..last week? They are back but they don't have B #s
Elise and Janine have both been aware of mine for awhile..

Still having intermittant site issues
The website seems to work for a while but then it stops responding. I have to go and clear my cache and then it will start working again. I shouldn't have to do this 3-4 times in one browsing session, should I?
Also, the profiles are not always loading again, and the notes button is not always loading.

Do they only count one place and one time?
They are also still not B kits..

Hi,
For clarity, B kit numbers are for kits that are created as part of the 23andMe or Ancestry.com transfer process.
I was not aware that the GAP Statistics page was not counting all kits correctly. I will follow up on that.

Yes I know that about the B kits, however many of the kits in question were transfer kits between 23andme and here..mine, my son's, 3-4 cousins and they do NOT have B numbers at all..
IT is aware of this as Elise spoke to them early in February and Janine last week.
Stats are the same as before ( missing about 5 FF kits) on stats for Lower Delmarva and now showing only 2 kits for Carrow. However perhaps they only count them once if they are in more than one group? That would be me and my son. That is fine just so I am aware of it.
Thank you so much Rebekah.

Just a few issues to report...
- When I navigate to the mtDNA Matches page and it cycles through the three categories (HVR1, HVR2, CR -> HVR1, HVR2 -> HVR1), only matches at the lowest level are found ("No matches found at this level of testing" for CR or HVR2 levels). However, if I filter and select "Check Matches for: HVR1, HVR2" from the drop-down box, 10 matches are displayed.
- At the bottom of the mtDNA results page, the "To learn more about RSRS click here" link doesn't work. The URL is incomplete and points to http:///about.aspx.
- I got my mtFull Sequence and Y-DNA37 results on the 19th, but have continued to receive email notifications every day since then to let me know that my mtDNA results have been posted.
Finally, can we expect a fix for the FASTA download error soon? ETA?
Thanks
