Something is wrong with GROUP JOINS..
I got a request and when responding I get Houston We Have Problem and this reason:

Error Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK_bcgGroupJoins'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.bcggroupjoins'

    "Violation" Sounds Gulag-ish to me..

So actually, the man is in the group now so it worked.. not sure what the violation was..lol

      Hi,

Y-DNA SNPs do not get their testing status updated, because there is not a way for the person who does it to update them. :-(

However, mtDNA is a completely different process. If you want to call, I would wait 3 days after mtDNA is due and then call. I suspect that they will have to take your information and call you back though. Test status update questions usually get sent to lab once or twice a day.

I have a member who is waiting for a return on a snp- it was due on 3/11. There is nothing in the notes and he is still waiting.

I am also waiting (Batch 553 I think) for my Mt results, due tomorrow. I am assuming that they will be delayed as well.

Can you clarify or should I call tomorrow?

        Hi,

That is a database administrator term. Yes, DB Admins are all gulag-ish, ask anyone but a DB Admin in the Information Technology industry. Hmmm I bet the issue is that he tried to join the project twice. Trying to say yes to a join request when the person was already in the project threw an error the last time I tried it.

That could be the case..I do see a "2" in the 2 messages I got from the desk..He is in now anyway. Perhaps one of my Co-Admins could have brought him in also. It is OK though..Thanks.

            Thank You Rebekah.

I hope that you are in charge of customer service training, or is this asking too much?

No. no. My friend Dr. Michelle Fiedler is in charge of customer service and training. She just took on that roll, but she is absolutely amazingly awesome. Things will get better soon. I promise!

I was kind of expecting an answer --- here is again, for all the kits I am managing, the HOME page displays INCORRECT dates for ALL last update (Y dna, mt dna and FF). It is misleading and frustrating... One kit is 271988

                  Hi,

We are still working on this one. It is impacting a large number of kits.

I still cannot get access to my home page.

                    But others can.

I have a friend who can get in on his Firefox browser, but I can not and am also using Firefox.

                    Help!

I can't log in to my FTDNA account. When I put my kit num and my password, it just takes me to another log in page.

And I can't log on with the Chrome browser any longer. I have to go back to Internet Explorer. What gives?

GAP impersonation may be down for all project admins right now. It has been reported.
