I just got 2 "Houston we got a problem" messages trying to look at my mtdna J group and another group. I got the message yesterday, too, but I can't remember what I was looking at.

It seems to be working now. And things seem to be loading a little faster than yesterday, thank goodness!

    Chromosome Browser

    Hi,

I am told that the Show in Table functionality of the Chromosome Browser in myFTDNA should be back. Thank you.

Nope, not working for me either.
Nothing much is working, same as yesterday and the whole website is going at a snails pace.

I had 4 new matches yesterday, but all came up with the 'Houston' problem. Now today I can't tell who they are 'cos I've logged out and in again since then.
The whole site is completely unusable right now.

Rod, Thank you for your flawless talent at pointing out exactly what is wrong. I have entered a bug report.

Log in is now working again or me Rebekah, so no point in trying to recreate the error. Back in action, but somewhat frustrated that having allocated two times this weekend (Friday evening and Saturday morning) to work on results from a new kit, I was unable to do so. Particularly irritating as it means that the I have now missed a chance to get another sceptical cousin interested in testing and will also be unable to meet my promise to my 83 year old aunt to tell her about my findings on her kit when I call her tomorrow.

The Logout link takes me to a log in screen and nothing happens when I put in my kit and password. Tried a forced refresh and that also got me nowhere.

I just decided to record my mother's 2 new matches on my spreadsheet. I loaded them in the chromosome browser and clicked "View this data in a table" and I got the 'Houston we have a problem' message. I tried several times.

Using Chrome I am having no problem. If I get that Houston message at other times, I just retry and it always goes away.

I'm in the Chromosome Browser, I have 5 new matches since last log in - but if I click on them to get their info and see if they have any names listed, I get the 'Houston we have a problem' message.

Same if I go in through Family Finder and do 'new since' - but that's never worked for me.

Also on Family Finder, 'sort by' and 'Ancestral surnames' gives me the same 'Houston' message

Edit to say - I can't get onto page 2 - or any other page apart from page 1 - on Family Finder either.
'In common with' and 'compare in Chromosome browser' - all broken

WHY can't I get to ANY of my Lower Delmarva group's personal pages from the GAP page link?

I can ONLY scroll down until I find the name? I have almost 200 people in this group ALTHOUGH the Statistics are still incorrect and say 181.. I have 52 Family Finder kits although stats indicate 48..and I cannot just click the name in Family Finder Illumina OmniExpress Results..must scroll down 181-200 names which are in NO Particular order..

    Kathleen

Hoping to learn why at the Big Y Webinar today..
